I'm getting pretty tired of this ad for Tales from the Darkside.
Every damn 10 minutes.
Pop-up blocker doesn't seem to notice it.

The worst thing about being sick (besides coughing my brains out all night) is the oppressive effect the illness has on my state of mind. I'm surly and irritable. It's like depression; nothing is enjoyable, nothing is comfortable, and I can't focus on anything for longer than 12 seconds.
Even this journal entry has taken a massive effort. 35 minutes now. Type type type. Backspace. Delete. Type type type. Erase. Start over. Start over. What was I thinking?

My whole day has been like this. My thoughts wander. I leave things unfinished. My orange juice grows warm beside me. I can smell my soup burning in the kitchen.
How long have I been sitting here?

I hate April Fool's Day.
Everyone is a comedian. And all the jokes and pranks are stale. I pretend to smile and go along with it, admiring the secret cruelty that lurks beneath the surface:

Browser pop-up blockers are powerless against these ads.
However, on my company network, I don't get any such pop-ups.
Ahhh... nothing like a good firewall.

Seriously. I am saying the same thing. The sucky part for me is when I go to close it, it doesn't CLOSE. -.-
